We’re slowly recovering from good Thanksgiving turkey and from Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Just looking at the traffic to our blog, we can tell that many of you were shopping this past week. We hope you got what you wanted (especially those of you who managed to get a Nintendo Wii or a $100 Xbox). After a bit of a lull, we’re getting ready to ramp up the number of posts as we have good December deals and coupons. Stay tuned.

After we stuff up on Turkey, we will start posting sales for tomorrow. Black Friday will be hectic so tune in early and often because we have some pretty great deals to share.

We are introducing a new segment to the site called Lagniappe. As you can see from the definition above it’s a word we picked up in New Orleans and it means something something extra or free. In this section we will write about freebies or extras which you won’t want to miss.

Now that we’ve enjoyed a very successful first month online, we took the opportunity to improve the UI to fit the needs of our readers. You may have experienced interruptions or weird site behavior overnight, but we should be good to go in the morning.
