Scarface: The World Is Yours – Download the Game from D2D

File under: Computer, Direct2Drive, Games

Direct2Drive is now selling the game Scarface: The World is Yours which you can download for $49.95.

The game takes place as an alternate ending that follows the events of the original movie. You get to live the turbulent life of Tony Montana, the infamous Cuban drug lord who redefined the American Dream, as he travels through Miami, the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas fighting to rebuild his fallen drug empire while avoiding his rivals and the DEA.

Like the movie, the game is extra violent, so it’s for gamers 17 and older (specifically, it contains blood and gore, intense violence, sexual themes, strong language, use of drugs). The download is about 2.3 GB and you’ll need a Windows 2000 or XP machine with at least 1.6 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, and DirectX 9.0c compatible video and sound cards.

If you are sick of browsing through the small hidden PC games section at your local big box electronics store then consider downloading some great games at Direct2Drive (D2D). D2D has an updated catalog of action, strategy, massive multiplayer, and role playing games including some of the hottest titles. Depending on your broadband connection, D2D‘s download manager will download games in 30 to 90 minutes. You can backup downloaded games to a CD and D2D‘s DRM server will validate the number of active licenses you have (meaning the number of copies you can run at the same time).

If you want to try it out, here some of the more popular titles available for download:
