For a limited time only, Circuit City is offering $50 off the highly acclaimed SanDisk Sansa Connect 4GB Digital Media Player. Normally retailing at $249.99, you can pickup a Sansa Connect for only $199.99. Our understanding is that this pricing is only available for a short time.
This new WiFi-enabled MP3 player won the Best in Show award at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Unlike a regular MP3 player or iPod, the Sansa Connect comes with built-in WiFi capabilities which allows you to stream, discover, share, and download music directly to the device. With integrated messaging, you can see what your friends around the world are listening to and you can share, recommend, or download any tracks with your buddies.
The Sansa Connect features Yahoo!’s Music service, LAUNCHcast radio, and Flickr (you can view your Flickr photos). The device is the size of a credit card, includes a sharp and bright 2.2″ TFT color display, offers a MicroSD card slot, and comes with a USB plug to side-load music.
Update: Wal-Mart now selling Sansa Connect for $199.54
Update 2: Amazon lowered the price but only to $219.99

The promotional materials for the next product leads off with “Harness all the energy and excitement of the Blue Man Group” but we really know this about harnessing that energy and excitement of kids who usually hit, bang, and slap everything in sight.
The Blue Man Group Percussion Tubes, based on the innovative percussion instruments created by those three guys with blue painted faces, features eight motion sensitive tubes that play sounds by simply waving the percussion sticks (meaning no drumming required, but I bet that won’t stop your kid from doing it). This battery powered musical toy comes with six different instruments including drums and xylophone. In a sign of the times, it also features an iPod/MP3 player dock which allows your kids to drum to music tracks.
This gift, great for your niece or nephew since you don’t have to deal with the noise, is designed for kids 8 and up and requires 4AA batteries. Selling at $60 to $70, it’s a top seller so keep checking these retailers to see if it’s in stock.

Update: Still in stock, but here are some of the details. This bundle includes 2 wireless remotes, a memory card adapter, and 10 games. For $100 more, you get the 60GB PS3. Now we can’t confirm but some people have said that they were able to buy a bundle and then return the games and get credited for those items. Again, we cannot confirm this so try it at your own risk.
