The Cingular Blackberry Pearl (AKA the Blackberry 8100c) is finally available on Amazon for $49.99 with a contract or $499.99 without a contract. Estimated delivery time is 3-4 weeks. It’s also available on Cingular‘s website for $199.99 with a contract.
Previously available exclusively through T-Mobile, the Blackberry Pearl is Blackberry’s first major foray into a full featured consumer smartphone. While previous Blackberry’s were designed for business users, the Pearl features a 1.3 megapixel camera, a media player, and a microSD slot for media storage. With GPRS and EDGE, the Pearl can support up to 10 email accounts, instant and text messaging (AOL/AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, and ICQ), and a web browser. It also includes Bluetooth 2.0 and a built-in speakerphone. The Cingular Blackberry Pearl will work with Cingular’s TeleNav GPS service which enables trip routing for a fee ($5.99/$9.99 per month).

Since we can’t stop raving about the Logitech Harmony 880 Remote Control, we’re happy to pass along a couple of great deals which we hope may push some of you to finally upgrade. As a reminder, the 880 is a fully programmable universal remote control with a color screen and a charging dock. Thanks to a built in USB port, the 880 can sync with Logitech’s online programming application which contains codes for 150,000 devices, meaning no need for you to create manual macros.
Enough of the talk, now to the great deals. Amazon is selling the 880 for $153.99 and they are offering a $30 rebate if you purchase between 11/28 and 12/4. From what we can see, this is by far the lowest price on the market for a new 880. If you’re not crazy about rebates, consider eCost, which is selling the remote for $149 and you can save $10 by using Google Checkout. If you choose the eCost route, you may want to hurry because supplies are limited.

Those of us who don’t work for MI6 can join the ranks of the Double-0 by purchasing a 1GB James Bond 007 Micro Vault USB Flash Drive or a James Bond 007 Cyber-shot® DSC-T50 Digital Camera. If you really want to raid Q’s laboratory, Sony is offering two black aluminum attaché cases, one containing a lightweight VAIO TX notebook PC, a privacy screen, and a Cyber-shot digital camera, while the other holds a pocket-sized VAIO UX notebook PC, a Bluetooth GPS receiver and a Cyber-shot digital camera.
