Nokia E62 Now Available on Cingular ($149)
File under: AT&T (Wireless), Early Adopter, Nokia E61 and E62, Wireless and Phones
The Nokia E62 is now officially available from Cingular for $149.99 with a new account ($199.99 without). As we previously reported, the Nokia E62 and its unlocked big brother the Nokia E61 are strong competition to the Treo and Blackberry market. With the Motorola Q making a big push with its low cost, Cingular is promoting the Nokia E62 at a competitive price.
To paraphrase our previous review: The Nokia E62 is a thin but wide, metal-encased device with a full QWERTY thumbpad. It runs the latest version of Symbian and includes all the applications one can imagine such as email, address book, web browser (a very good one), document reader with Word support, and calendar. The phone includes Bluetooth and offers data connectivity using EDGE. The E62 supports Blackberry Connect, GoodLink, Exchange Mail, and Xpress Mail.
