Apple has just released an 8GB (PRODUCT) RED iPod nano for $249. This is Apple’s second (PRODUCT) RED release after debuting a 4GB version when the campaign launched.

As we previously mentioned, the (PRODUCT) RED campaign is working with major retailers to offer limited edition products, either in red or with the (PRODUCT) RED branding, with part of the proceeds going towards The Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. As the calendar moves from October to November, Walmart is expected to begin accepting pre-orders of Nintendo Wii (according to information provided to us by Walmart).
